The certified solution to install the new Kenwood NX-3720E ensures to have always a perfect quality audio on pilot and co-pilot headsets including sidetone functionality

Swiss Helicopter Engineering has developed and certified in cooperation with Swiss Helicopter Maintenance (www.shm-ag.ch) an FM radio system. The system includes the installation of the Kenwood NX-3720E VHF-FM radio, an antenna, a radio adapter and a voltage converter. The system has been designed to ensure a loud and clear audio on the pilot and co-pilot headsets, including sidetone functionality.

Radio Adapter enables a perfect quality audio on Pilot and Co-Pilot headsets The installation of a configurable Radio Adapter ensures a perfect communication in the cockpit available on the Pilot and Co-Pilot headsets

External antenna installation included

An external antenna is mounted on the helicopter fuselage and included in the kit

Compatible with the latest AS350/H125 B3e equipment console The installation of the VHF FM Radio is compatible with the latest equipment console of the AS350/H125 B3e

Sidetone functionality The installation has been designed closely with the most experienced pilots and features also sidetone functionality

Perfect quality audio on Pilot and Co-Pilot headsets including sidetone functionality

After many tests, including flight ones, the solution ensures always a perfect audio quality on pilot and co-pilot headsets and covers the need for sidetone functionality
