The forthcoming solution to enhance pilot visibility in sling load operations

Swiss Helicopter Engineering, part of Swiss helicopter Group is pleased to announce the development of a new Cockpit Floor Window for AS350 / H125 helicopters.

The new product developed in close cooperation with pilots and mechanics from other entities of Swiss Helicopter Group will offer an alternative to the existing products on the market enhancing pilot visibility and flight safety  during sling load and fire-fighting operations. The main focus for the development has been to design a simple safety enhancing product which requires reduced ground time for installation and consequently improving safety at an affordable cost for operators.

Any Part 145 will be able to install the kit. Nonetheless specialized support will also be available.

The system is easily installed; it is compatible with the original door and, optionally, with Swiss Helicopter Engineering Bubble Window STC for furtherly increased performances.

AVAILABILITY AND PRICES

The RH Cockpit Floor Window STC kit for H125/AS 350 B3 will be available in Q3-2025

Kit orders will be available ain Q3-2025 and could be installed directly by maintenance organisations or with support of Swiss Helicopter Engineering if requested.

Certifications activities are in progress and EASA certification is expected in summer 2025. FAA and TCCA validation of the STC will follow before the end of the year.
